I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I have a good excuse. Last year was a whirlwind, full of so many ups and downs I couldn’t concentrate on what I really loved. But I am back and here to stay. I’ve saved you the trouble of hearing me rant over bad collections, by choosing the ones I thought were just absolutely, ridiculously beautiful. This season designers focused on using color to enhance the somewhat normal, dull color palette of fall.

Balenciaga
The most exciting collection this season was Nicolas Ghesquière’s mouthwatering use of color for Balenciaga. I was completely taken aback by the bright patterns, and wonderful mix of prints. If you are looking to spice up your wardrobe, this collection offers some simple tips on how to do that.

This is a great thing to share with all the labelgirlhype fans! It’s about a website filled with fashion internships. It has so many fashion opportunities at your fingertips. I know fashion can be a big part of a girl’s life and there are many of you out there who might be interested in a career path towards fashion. An internship is one of the best ways in helping you figure out what you would like to do in the future along with giving you great experiences filled with many opportunities. I have used the site myself many times and have been recently asked to be interviewed for interning at Stella McCartney. I’m sure a lot of you girls would love this information! also wish me luck!!!

@Finishemfresh CEO of EVOL ROCX Clothing was nice enough to send me some great stuff from their clothing line. EVOL ROCX is more than just a clothing line, but “a brand with a future of fashion in mind.” Their logo is quite clever emerging a cave man with a robot and calling it a “Cavebot,” a combination of the best fashion from the past and the future.

In today’s never-ending need to express one’s self, everyone has decided to shift from following a trend to starting a new one. As you may have noticed, every musician has a signature “look”. For instance, Katy Perry is the girl next door meets the 50’s vixen. Nikki Minaj is the “Barbie” sliding down a rainbow into a bowl of skittles. Rihanna is the redheaded futuristic but “I’ll-wear-just-about-anything-sexy” gal. Taylor Swift is the innocent country girl. And I’m just describing a few of the women who are on ITune’s Top List.

Dear Readers,
I haven’t forgotten about you or your fashion needs- on the contratry, I have been shopping/testing/reviewing/and maxing out that magic plastic card spending dinero on the newest must-try’s of the season! Before I give you the scoop on the newest beauty products, however, I wanted to share with you some exciting events going on this weekend in the city! This week I might not be able to attend some of these events due to the fact that I am very much indeed preparing to leave for VEGAS this weekend and continue to celebrate my 24th Birthday!!!!!!! ( Yes, Its going to be LADY GAGA EPIC and although I do not plan to share my drunk moments here on Label gil Hype, I will however give you the scoop on the Vegas nightlife scene and shopping must-do’s).
