Its been almost 2 years since singer Chris Brown beat heart throb singer Rihanna. Brown pleaded guilty in court and was sentenced to community service. After such a performance on the 2010 BET awards, Brown has some explaining to do about a lyric in his new song “Dueces (featuring Kevin McCall and Tyga).” “I finally noticed it, it finally hit me / Like Tina did Ike in the limo, it finally hit me.”

Brown accepted the AOL Fandemonium award and said “I know I let ya’ll down once, but I promise I won’t do it again.” Well buddy, you did it again. After beating the beautiful face of Covegirl Rihanna, how could you have enough moxie to allow another rapper to use words that involved domestic abuse because it may be harmful to your look. If Brown was truly sorry, he wouldn’t have enough courage to use that line in his new song, and if he was apologetic for hurting Rihanna he wouldn’t be singing such lyrics.

Tina Turner’s ex husband and manager Ike abused the singer for years before she was able to escape from him and Brown’s incident with singer Rihanna is of course well known to most. The limo fight reference is likely the last incident between Ike and Tina of which Ike said, “I slapped her. The only time I ever punched Tina with my fist was the last fight we had (in the limousine in Dallas). She put her knee up in my collar and started hitting me and I grabbed her and punched her and pulled her off of me. That was the only time there had ever been anything like that. All the times before that, our fights or our little slaps, or whatever they were, were all just about attitude.”  Readers, I want to hear your responses. Do you think Chris should’ve allowed Kevin McCall to use domestic abuses in his song? Check out 3:35 to hear the verse.
