Summer in the city can be crowded and sweaty, but still fashionable. There are five summer essentials that every city girl needs this year. These five essentials will keep you looking cool and fashionable this summer.

1) Nothing is cooler than a fedora hat in the summer. You instantly look chic and trendy. The fedora is not only fashionable, but also helps block the sun.

2) Oxfords are very in this summer. Oxfords give your outfit a causal, yet trendy look. You can dress them up or dress them down. If you don’t like the look of sneakers and want a more sophisticated look, oxfords are perfect!

3) A cute summer dress is perfect for hot days, especially when you want to wear something loose but still fashionable. You can wear them with sandals, heels, or even oxford shoes!

3) Cross body bag – You are always on the run in the city. A girl defiantly needs her hands free to shop, hop trains, or just to go on a nice summer walk. But going bag-less in the city is a no-no. We need metro cards, phone, and makeup (sometimes even a map). A Cross body bag is perfect for the girl on the go!

4) This last summer essential I’m sure you can find on every block. A Starbucks venti to go cold cup! We all love our frappuccino’s and ice coffee.  Now here is a cool way to carry them!
