Hey Label Girl Hype readers! Hope you guys are doing well. I’ve missed you. Life has been cray-zay, seriously. Summer time means you are working 24/7. “Hitting up the Hampton’s,” happy hour at rooftop bars, and a weekend at your friend’s shore house somehow become a second (or maybe even third, this is Manhattan, home of the gypsy) job. You have to do these things because summer is so short! It’s such a well deserved treat to party in the sand with a cocktail that you don’t even know how to pronounce in hand. So yes, I’ve been very busy engaging in all of the above, and of course working hard so I can afford it ;)

In the midst of all this, the Label Girls were fortunate enough to get sent some amazing products from Maybelline and Garnier, which you already know because you’ve been following the blog! Let me tell you, we got hooked up. Nestled inside this box of loveliness was my saving grace. Of all the amazing things, a duo of face wash and facial gel have been getting me through the dog days and wild nights of summer . I first tried it two weeks ago after a long night out. I had an early date with a photo shoot that I was styling.

I woke up tired and hot, borderline lethargic, so I turned on some icy cold water and blindly started using my new products. My senses were stimulated immediately. Seriously, the Moisture Rescue Fresh Cleansing Foam is so luxurious it felt like melted down satin. I lathered it on my face for five minutes. It felt so great. Had the other four hours of sleep I was missing been inside that bottle? You could say so. My skin looked rested and enriched, something I don’t  think I could have achieved even if I had the proper amount of sleep. But then it was glow time. The Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Creme, yes gel, is instant facial amazing-ness. I’ve been using it for two weeks now and I feel like I have taken my skin back to the years before I ever crossed paths with NYC bus exhaust.

All I can think is, what a kick-ass combination of products this is! I’m so relieved to have my little duo get me through these jam packed days. While I live la vida loca, my Garnier Moisture Rescue team has my skin looking like I’m living la dolce vita. Can’t argue with that ;)

Ciao for now,

Tiffany
